Unfortunately, last week's weather meant we were unable to go ahead with our visit to Stretham and Wilburton CLT, we're really sorry if this caused any issues for any of you.

We've now rescheduled the date and are going to pretend that this was our plan all along. Original attendees will be emailed shortly about this, and if any places become available we'll revert to the waiting list. If you would like to be added to the waiting list, just in case, please email Polly to let her know.

What to expect

Come and see the results of Cambridgeshire's pioneering Stretham and Wilburton CLT and their first 75 new-home project, Manor Farm.

As well as a tour of the CLT and discussions with three local CLTs, the day will also include practical workshops on finance and partnerships with developers and housing assocications.

This event is a great opportunity to visit a completed CLT, meet other community groups, share tips and work out what is going to work for you and your particular project. Places are limited, so please reserve your space asap.

Who will benefit from attending this event:

> 'Start Up' and developing groups, and individuals contemplating community-led housing -
This is a fantastic opportunity to visit a completed CLT, talk to trustees and residents, and inform your own group's priorities and the approach you want your project to take.

> Groups wanting to build better relationships with their local council -
While community-led housing groups may form in response to a need that isn't being met, more often than not, it is in a group's interest to have a good relationship with political decision makers. Stretham and Wilburton CLT is a great case study of a group and council working together closely for you to get tips from.

> Groups and organisations looking into the idea of forming a Community-Led Housing Hub -
The nature of this growing movement means that there is an increasing need for top-quality local enabling services across the country to ensure the best advice is available to groups. This particular event is being delivered alongside CLT East, an umbrella organisation, who have developed a solid model to support community-led housing in Cambridgeshire. Why not come along and pick their brains?
