Stonesfield Community Trust : Turning profits into services

Stonesfield Community Trust was one of the earliest examples of a CLT-style development in the UK. Its work is an effective response by local residents to the shortage of affordable housing in the Oxfordshire village (population 1,900). Set up in 1983, the Trust has produced 14 affordable homes and 2 workspaces with very little public subsidy.
